  • Richard from Moore Movers was professional and courteous, but unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing. The movers arrived more than an hour late for our scheduled booking and did not appear to have all the necessary equipment, as they had to use our personal wagon during the move. We were also charged an additional $60 because the distance from the truck to the door was approximately 44 feet -- only about 4 feet beyond the company’s 40-foot limit. Although there was a two-hour minimum charge, the move itself took only about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Since we did not use the full two hours we had already paid for, we felt the additional $60 charge for those extra four feet could reasonably have been waived. While we appreciated Richard’s professionalism, the late arrival, lack of preparation, and additional charge left us disappointed with the overall experience.
