  Homeward Bound Moving Solutions And Logistics

  I provided 4 adjustable straps (come-alongs) and a roll of bubble wrap to protect my furniture. The crew used none of these things when packing my furniture into the U-Haul trailer. I sent photos of the damaged furniture to the Homeward Bound email address and have not gotten a reply. There is a one inch tear in my leather sofa, scratches on multiple pieces of furniture, and two lamps were damaged beyond repair and had to be thrown out. When I pay for a moving crew, I expect professional movers who are trained to do the job right. This crew was unprofessional, foul-mouthed, and smelled like an outhouse. I have moved 25+ times in my life. This crew is the absolute worst I've ever seen. They didn't even use the straps I provided. Do they not know how to use come-alongs? Have they not been trained? This is absolutely the worst moving experience I've ever had. I do not trust U-Haul to properly vet their moving help and will never use them again.

  They were very helpful for our move! They moved very quickly and treated our items with care. We scheduled with them pretty last minute and it was a breeze to figure out a time that worked for all of us.
