• The moving company booked through U-Haul, 1st & Original Absolutely Movers, was extremely disappointing. The mover showed up 30 minutes late and took three hours just to load the truck even though everything was already packed and ready to go. Despite multiple conversations in the weeks leading up to the move, where he assured me that three hours would be plenty of time for both loading and unloading, he told me on arrival that he would only be able to load the truck and then left as soon as that was done. He also arrived without any padding or protective materials for the furniture. I ultimately had to hire another company to unload the truck. Overall, it was a very frustrating and unprofessional experience.

  We gave you a free 30 minutes of working time, a free moving blanket, and also a free ratchet strap to secure your load and none of your items were broken. This 2 star review is completely inaccurate. We had another job to get to after you and still stayed to finish loading your truck even though we were late getting to the next customer. We would have never told you that loading and unloading a 20ft truck would definitely only take 3 hours. We may have said it was possible but we would never assure you of this when there are so many details of a move we could never calculate until the day of. Once we did arrive and assessed the situation we gave you two viable options. We could either load the truck up with all of your bigger heavier items and go unload those items within our time or we could load the entirety of your home into the truck with our time and you chose to just get everything loaded from the beginning. We do good honest work and all of our reviews reflect this. Thank you.
