  • The guys were nice. And I know they were doing their best. But compared to my last movers from A1 Specialists from a year ago (move from Draper to Millcreek which only took 2.5 hours), they were not as experienced. I booked the two guys for 3 hours. It took them 5 hours so I had to directly pay an additional $200 for the 2 extra hours. Plus, of course, my tip to each of the guys. Would have been fine. But, they were only able to move 85 percent of my stuff. And some big items were left (80 inch TV, twin bed, wingback chair, tall glass bookshelves, etc...) So, it is not something I can move myself and had to hire another uhaul truck and movers for this coming weekend to get the rest done.

    Hi Dennis, we sent you the exact same 2 guys from 2 years ago (we checked the records) when we helped you as you requested. When you have a tiny, slow, heavily used elevator the job can take longer. There was also a long walk from apt to elevator and elevator to truck which came out to hundreds of feet. These are all factors that will make your move much longer than before. Thanks for your business and taking the time to leave a review. Have a nice day Also, the job started at 10am and truck needed to be returned by 2pm, that is a quick turnaround for a move of any kind. Uhaul does not charge more money if you rent the truck for more hours. Always rent a truck for several more hours than anticipated if not the entire day, it costs the same.
