Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
Glenn was great. Very polite and was able to move all my furniture by himself! Got me out of a jam to be able to deliver and unload my 2 boxes when the original moving help valued on me 1 hour before they were supposed to arrive!
I wouldn't probably hire them again. I paid for 2 people, but only one showed up on time. The other arrived an hour late. I booked way extra time, hoping to use that as an incentive to get it done quick. Unfortunately, I had to ask my family to stay and help, since there was only one guy there. He did a really good job, even by himself. Hopefully he finds a more reliable partner for future jobs.
It took all of us a little time to get used to each other, but once we did, everything was great. They load, unload quickly and efficiently, just give them time and space to move you. Please also account for unforseen circumstances and try not to underestimate the time that it will take for your move. Remember, they are doing back to back moves and we all need a quick little break sometimes. These guys work hard. Rick and Joey were great. They somehow got my big sectional into a small door small apartment. Snacks, water, sports drinks available would greatly be appreciated. Be kind during to your movers and happy moving.
