  One of the movers was great but the other had a terrible cold and when I complained to the scheduling owner he first wrote that they work sick all the time. The last thing I need when exhausted from moving is getting sick from germs all over everything so I was surprised to hear that reportedly nobody else had complained in 16 years. Mike did say in the end that he would tell customers in the future if one of the workers is sick. I recommend that customers confirm helper health in advance if it matters to anyone else who’s moving! I only got about an hour of work and asked my friend to help the healthy one put things in order so the sick one could wait in the truck.

  The service communicated well. There was a 20 minute delay in the helpers arriving and we were texted about it an hour ahead of time. The helpers were very nice and accomplished everything we needed, but banged several items quite a bit while carrying them up the stairs to the apartment and scratched up the floors a bit moving a couch around. To be fair they were tough stairs, but that was why we paid for professional movers. They got us in - we may not have made it without them - but we would probably look for another company next time
