• Great at helping us move! Took care of our stuff. However, he did ask for extra money to cover gas (+ $200) and stairs fee (+ $50). This was not mentioned in the contract when I already prepaid $215 for the 2 hrs and already mentioned we are going to be on the second floor. We did extend an extra hr which he did ask for another $90 (which is ok since we extended to 3 hrs). He said my husband ok'ed all this but this was not true, my husband said that he said to him we prepaid for everything and will cover only the additional hr. However, I was alone at the moment and felt pressured to pay all these extra fees. All in all for 3 hrs it costed us $530 instead of what we originally agreed on - $305 + tips. Just be careful and make sure to communicate the extra hidden fees. At the end of the day they were great nice people and really cared about helping us.

  We had 2.25 hours to get to this location then moved in labor 3.25 hours so in total 5.5 hours of time from time we started until time we left the location to head back to town. Which we had a 2.5 hour drive back to the shop which we didnt charge for either in total we had over 8 hours in this job. At $530.00 that comes out to $66.50hr for over 300 miles traveled and 8 hours of time paid to 2 movers. This job was only sheduled for 2 hours. I made sure to talk to the husband before we even came to the job well before moving date and he agreed to all terms. Per uhual rate of $105.00 an hour x 5.5 hours is $527.50. Plus i was able to get there truck extended for them at no extra charge due to first movers being behind schedule. So in all they were charged the hourly rate they booked for while only chargng 5.5 hours out of 8 hours. We cant please everyone. Also saying you felt pressured is quite ridiculous. I specifically told you that you could go ahead and call your husband to confirm

  RELIABLE MOVERS

• We scheduled with the movers for 9AM and were told that if they were running a little early or a little late aka less than 30 minutes they would give us a heads up. We called at 830 to confirm on time and they did not answer. We called again at 905 and they said their GPS said 1055AM arrival. We had no other options so last minute on a holiday weekend when we had to be out of the house by 5PM so we decided to wait for them to arrive rather than opt for a refund. Ultimately they didn't arrive until 1215PM and they did not answer phone calls from us during the additional delayed time frame. When they arrived, it was obvious they were not professional movers, and they had a child with them. They did an okay job packing, although they ran several items into walls and moved slow enough that we decided to finish the job ourselves rather than extend beyond the base 2 hours booked.
