Our local helpers have been helping people move since 2002.
Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
While they did a good job during the move itself, they're planning and communication was poor. I called a month in advance, to schedule my move, and they said they would get back to me a week prior to it. They failed to do so, and showed up too late to pick up my second moving pod, which forced me to throw out some of my furniture because I couldn't move it in time.
Didn’t speak English. Didn’t utilize the room in the truck at all, left Grandmas attic half empty, had boxes marked with fragile stickers placed in and upon arrival was crushed by other boxes due to poor packing. Broken and damaged furniture upon arrival. Didn’t even get an idea of what was being moved. If I didn’t tell the movers they probably would’ve left the backyard stuff as well as the boxes in the kitchen. Would not recommend to anyone. Have pictures as validation of what a horrible job was done. The company unloading the truck couldn’t believe what they were looking at. I can’t believe I got recommended this company through uhaul.
These guys took care of me. They were very helpful and all my stuff was packed safely in my truck and made it to my new place intact! Great team fr.
