  • Mike sent a text 13 minutes after the job start time informing me that he was running behind. His helper never showed up to the job. He did disassemble my bed and brought it downstairs which I really appreciated. I was planning to have everything staged for loading the truck in my garage and there were a few things still left upstairs and some boxes inside the house. He did move some sod that I asked him to do because I was making a quick dump run with the truck since he was late arriving. My son wound up taking over loading the truck as nothing was being used to protect my expensive 5 piece bedroom furniture. He's worked with my brother who's had a moving service business for 15 years but was unavailable to do this job for me today as he was already booked and my move happened kind of last minute with the closing on my new house changing dates. Almost every time I saw Mike, he was either on his phone or seemed to be taking a break which was kind of irritating to me. Wouldn't rehire.

    Mam everything that was in your truck was in there because of me. I touched every piece that's in your truck. I protected your furniture the best I could. It's your job to provide moving blankets. We do not have an unlimited number of moving blankets therefore we do not provide those. When I was on my phone, the truck was already loaded. You weren't even there when the truck was being loaded, so how are you going to say your son loaded it and I had nothing to do with it essentially. That's never how I work. I'm not lazy or slow. Sorry for being late but that didn't stop you from having me wait on you while you went somewhere. And yea your welcome for the disassembly of your bed and moving your worm and big filled sod. Definitely not my job description and happy to help, but not for a 2 star customer that has the audacity to rate 2 stars for me. I'd gladly take one less star to have your bed back where it was and your sod. Ungrateful customer. Would not work with again.
