  • I have used Fresh Start movers twice now. The first time, they were sensational. Got the job done so quick. Double checked where boxes were going. The second time? We had to fire them mid job. I requested two movers to load a two bedroom apartment into a uhaul and then to unload in the new home. I was sent an older man who was sweet but in no way capable of lifting heavy. The other was a teenage guy who looked high. The two did not work together. 3.5 hours into the load, the apartment was still not loaded up. I had everything packed up, they just had to move it. The uhaul truck size I have used for every move was so poorly packaged, they could not fit everything. I have had to make 15 additional trips to the apartment to get the remainder of things. We ended up telling them we no longer need them to meet us at the house to unload the truck. We ended up unloading the two of us in 35 minutes....I don't get how I can have two drastically different experiences. Money completely wasted.

    This is completely false. You ordered 2 hours to fill a 15ft truck and a pick up. And, expected it to be loaded and then unloaded to an upstairs apt in 2 hours. You left after 15 mins and weren't even there. Only your male friends were. And, you never fired anyone. We did the 2 hours and you didn't want to add time for the unload. We were not there 3.5 hours, however, time not being sufficient was discussed on initial call. When we moved you in, it was the same 'old man' and both times, he lifted everything you had. The 'teenager' is a young man, over 20, trying to support his family and was definitely not high! Why would it have taken 15 extra trips for you, if you only had a 15ft truck worth of belongings? Also, unload always takes less time than load. The first unload was only you, so you had less belongings than you do now with your friends. If we were there 3.5 hours, it would appear that you owe us 1.5 hours, but that is not true, it's it?
