Our local helpers have been helping people move since 2002.
Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
We hired a 2 member team, 3 members showed up. We hired only 24h in advance and they showed up on time and did everything as expected. They were very nice, helped us taping boxes to close them, packed the mattress in the plastic and organized the truck very well (absolutely nothing moved or broke during our 1200 mile drive!). They were super efficient. Will definitely hire them again!
The company required 4 movers and the job did too.i was happy to pay an additional $198 for 2 more helpers. Otherwise moving the piano went smoothly. In the future I suggest you plan on a crew of 4.
Martin and Chris were excellent. There were some time changes on the day of the move but they were incredibly communicative and stayed a bit longer to help complete the job. Martin also took the trash with him, which I thought was a really nice touch and saved me some time! I would absolutely reach out to Martin and his team again for any future moving needs.
