• Overall, I had a very disappointing experience. Nearly every single piece of my furniture arrived damaged, including my bed, nightstands, tables, lamps, and more. I asked the movers multiple times to properly wrap and protect my furniture, but those requests were largely ignored. They also stacked items inappropriately, which resulted in extensive damage during the move. Even the crew that unloaded the truck commented on how poorly everything had been packed and handled. The entire experience was unprofessional and extremely frustrating. I regret giving such generous tips before seeing the condition of my belongings. I documented the damage with photographs and will be filing an insurance claim. I would strongly recommend choosing a different moving company to avoid the time, stress, and expense of dealing with damaged belongings.

• Last minute request from the manager for money, stating that the U Haul website had the wrong rate posted. Stated he would call U Haul to have a new pay code issued. He later stated he could not get a new U Haul pay code and directed that we supplement with 80.00 cash. We agreed, because we did not have time to find a new company to help and stay on schedule. The company sent a man and woman out to load the truck, but she had a bad back and was not able to provide much help. The couple said that we had too much furniture and demanded that we cancel the current job and reschedule for three men. They called the manager who said that it would increase the cost to 130 an hour. I refused and explained that we had moved the same furniture many times without a problem. Ultimately, the man and I loaded the furniture in the truck, which did not fill the truck. U Haul is great, but this was a mess and a huge red flag as to how this moving company conducts its business.
