  • Do not use Caveman Moves. My experience with this company was extremely disappointing and unprofessional from start to finish. The movers clearly lacked the basic knowledge needed to properly load a U-Haul box, which resulted in several of my belongings being damaged during the move. I actually had to step in and instruct them on how to load and protect my own furniture and artwork—something no customer should ever have to do after paying for a professional service. After the move, I contacted Ryan, the owner, to request a partial refund to help cover the cost of repairing the damaged items. Unfortunately, he has been completely unresponsive. Overall, this was a very negative experience. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you want your belongings handled with care and professionalism.

    Our team has about two years of experience which is a lot for this type of labor. You showed photos of items that were covered in both plastic wrapping and blankets. And most importantly, you inspected your U-Box to make sure you were satisfied with how everything was packed. Your request for a 50 percent refund over a month after the items were packed for you was unreasonable. And we communicated several times through phone and this site. Upon seeing the size of the refund request we decided that we were too far off on your estimation of the damage and felt a nominal refund would have been more appropriate. Additionally, there would have been a moving team and an unloading team in addition to us so to say our loading team is solely responsible for the damage is unrealistic at best. Lastly, you complained that a box had gotten crushed but turned down our packing services so you had a flimsy box with crushable contents a lamp shade rather than a reinforced box.
