In an attempt to change my moving date in the Uhaul Moving Help App, I found the app confusing because you can not delete or reduce the number of men or on the app, only ADD men or hours. Therefore, I erroneously added 2 extra men to my moving order in an attempt to change the date. I should have cancelled the order but Blake Tucker with Super Hands Movers assured me I would not be charged for 4 men as shown on the reservation. Not so; I was charged for 4 movers at 4 hours although only 2 men were on-site for the job. I was not reimbursed for the extra $400 I was charged for 2 additional movers who were not onsite. I was ripped-off. In addition, one of the movers broke a water line while moving boxes from the attic and flooded the house. The $7,000 damage included repair of the broken water line, 5 days of remediation including water extraction, 3 dehumidifiers and drying blankets over 2,000 sf of hardwood flooring.
