Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
Antoine and the other workers were amazing! They got our three bedroom home packed on the truck in 30 minutes and had the move complete in two hours. Very efficient and great customer service. I will definitely be using them again in the future.
The movers themselves did a great job. They were fast, efficient, and finished in under two hours. However, the overall experience was disappointing, and I would rate it 1 star because of the poor communication and coordination beforehand. I understand that timelines can change on moving day, but I expect advance notice. I coordinated with Juan Sosa three hours ahead of time to push the appointment back by 30 minutes, and he acknowledged the new time. When I arrived at the agreed time, I only found out the movers would be an hour late after I texted him first. When I explained that I would have appreciated a heads up, he reminded me of the original appointment time, even though we had already agreed to a new time. His final response was, 'Got it sorry I’m busy,' which felt very unprofessional. Because of the lack of punctuality, poor coordination, and unprofessional communication, I do not plan to use Smart Prime Movers again.
They guys were awesome, patient and professional. Will absolutely use them again in the future.
