  • Overall, the team was very friendly and professional, but we were disappointed with the move itself. Before they arrived, we had already moved over 70 percent of our boxes and furniture downstairs or into the garage to make things easier. Even with that, the process was very slow and we had to pay for an extra hour. We were moving about five hours away with a 30-foot enclosed trailer, but it was packed so unevenly that our F350 long bed dually was weighed down badly in the back and we almost had to stop and flip the hitch to make it safer. Several items also arrived damaged, including our TV stand, metal dresser, garage shelving, carts missing wheels, and parts of our Blackstone, including bent side tables. We also used one of our own Barefoot Dreams blankets to help since we did not have enough moving blankets, and it came back covered in tape and likely ruined. We have not even fully unpacked yet, so we are worried there may be more damage we have not found yet.

    Hi Adrianne. Thank you for your review. During intake with every client, I emphasize the importance of moving blankets to protect items from being damaged during transit. We cannot provide moving blankets to the client because when someone is moving 5 hours away, we cannot get the moving blankets back. You booked us for 2 hours to load a 30-foot enclosed trailer from a three bedroom townhome and it took us 3 hours total. In the future, I strongly recommend renting an actual moving truck to transport your belongings. A moving truck will have rub rails or e-tracks on the sides of the box that, when properly utilized, will prevent your items from shifting during transport.
