  • Alford and his helper Joe worked hard, moved fast and got it done. I was available to assist, but seldom got instructions to know what I could do to help. I was frustrated with the way they handled my stuff. I made a few comments about it and that upset Alford. I just wanted my stuff handled with care, but felt like most of the time they were handling my stuff like baggage handlers rather than movers. Boxes were stacked sideways and upside-down. Things were stacked on top of fragile items, etc. I intentionally paid for an extra hour with the expectation that they would take the time to do it right. Instead they got it done as fast as they could and then took off early. I told them I would need additional help in the future, but I will try another company next time.

    Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback Im sorry that you felt your belongings werent handled the way you expected That was certainly not our intention and I do take pride in working hard and getting the job done efficiently while treating customers belongings with care I also want to be honest that I found it difficult to do my job at times because I was receiving frequent instructions on how I should be doing the move and there were times when having you actively involved in the moving process made it harder for Joe and me to work efficiently I understand that it was your belongings and that you wanted them handled a certain way and I respect that Im sorry that we didnt meet your expectations and I appreciate you giving us the opportunity to help with your move I genuinely wish you the best with your future moves and you are certainly welcome to choose another moving company if you feel they would be a better fit for what youre looking for
