First, the good things - very good communication, on time and packed the van perfectly as not a thing moved during the 2.5 hour journey. Great ! Not so good things - One of the helper came wearing flip flops and probably that was the reason they were working slow. We had to lift some of the stuff ourselves through the staircase to speed up the work as the helpers were working sluggishly. I told them the lift was not the best as it’s an older apartment building and they would be better off using the staircase. If I can lift things up and down the staircase, I expected they could have done the same with some of the furniture stuff, versus loading it on to dolly and then trying to fit into a small elevator and then getting it out, was wastage of time in my opinion. Bottomline is that as professionals one should know how to customize to different work conditions.
