  • Terrible experience. (Stephon) that took a job he was NOT prepared to complete efficiently. Stephon, (contracted out by First Choice Movers) was the hired U-box mover who showed up to the Koreatown -2 bedroom apartment wildly unprepared by only delivering one box at time (we ordered 3) with only himself to move everything. After 7 hours of him moving things one at a time, and then having to go back and forth to Glendale to get all the Uboxes we ordered - he tells us we needed a 4th box (if he had all the boxes delivered at once he could have packed them efficiently to fit just the couch and peloton bike. So 3 poorly packed boxes and a 4th with only two items in it. We had to drive to Glendale ourselves to talk with the manager who refused to authorize the 4th box until we agreed to pay extra money in CASH to the mover outside the Uhaul system. Not to mention they did not communicate with us before the move. Not sure why First Choice Movers contracted this job out to someone so shady.

    excuse me! you guys were unprepared. you guys scheduled a move on a day when you knew your elevator were down for maintenance. which pushed time back. and mynguys were at a stand still. We have been doing uboxes for 8 years now and never an issue until we dealt with you guys. You did not speak to the general manager. The person you spoke with was a csr at uhaul and his boss told stephon that they did not have any other uboxes available. especially after closing. technically we were not aloud uhaul is not aloud to send uboxes out after closing. You guys were rude and disrespectful from the beginning. Me and you spoke multiple times leading up to the job and we even spoke the morning of the job.
