• Shane (and the other movers from Valley and Mount Moving and Labor) went above and beyond in all areas of customer service. From clear and timely communication regarding coordinating the timing and scope of the move, to helpful recommendations regarding packing materials and other info to help ensure the process went as smoothly as possible, to being flexible w unforeseen snags, being highly knowledgeable and efficient when it came to safely loading and unloading - Valley and Mount Moving and Labor are exemplary. Shane and his crew were able to get the job done quickly while maintaining a high level of professionalism and care. Which is not easy when it comes to heavy objects, small spaces, and all of the variables that popped up. Not only was the crew excellent at their job, they made the day less stressful for me and my parents (anyone who has moved knows that it’s an inherently stressful process) which is a testament to their people skills on top of their moving and labor acumen.

• Communication fantastic actual service was awful. I had all boxes separated into categories, on first floor and was even complimented on organization I asked what I could do to help, move boxes out to truck, etc and was told they got it, they would do it all no problem. So I trusted them. By the third hour, NOT a single room ( out of 3 full rooms) were completely loaded I was told by Supervisor he couldn’t give me anymore time than the 4 I was paying for and they were not sure everything would fit on truck. This was said as a bookshelf was being loaded and I asked if they could fill the bookshelf with smaller boxes to add more space-basic mover 101 stuff.They packed the first two rows up and then sloppily did packing Some clear marked fragile items were placed on bottom.I had to repack truck in order to fit household items on it, which I fit everything with room to spare. If you use them, stay out there and supervise the whole time. I felt scammed, would not use or recommend

• The guys at Valley and Mount were absolutely phenomenal. Due to issues with my apartment complex’s cooperation, my estimated quote of 2 hours of labor ended up being way, way off. Not only did they work through until my entire apartment was loaded, going above and beyond to try to ensure the job could be completed as quickly as possible, they also were amazingly positive throughout the entire experience. Moving as a whole is stressful enough and it could have been much more stressful but their care and understanding helped make the process as seamless as possible. Not to mention how well packed my POD was by the end, without a single corner cut in the whole 5.5 hour day. I would highly recommend them for any and all of your moving needs.
