Booking local Moving Helpers is simple with our easy and customized process. Search for local providers in your area, compare rates and reviews, select your Moving Helpers, and then sit back while your Service Providers do the heavy lifting for you!

Your Move, Your Way

  • Find & Book

    • Enter your location(s), start time, and date.
    • Sort results based on number of helpers, hours, services needed, and Safeload® coverage.
    • Complete the checkout process. We'll email your confirmation.
  • Manage Your Move

    • Helpers will contact you to coordinate your move.
    • Discuss your desired start time, the size of the move, and whether you have any specialty items.
    • If extra hours are needed during the move, click "Add Hours" in the U-Haul App or your Customer Account.
  • Confirm Job Completion

    • When you're 100 percent satisfied, release the Payment Code to your Moving Helpers.
    • If not, hold the Payment Code until your concerns have been addressed with your provider.
  • Rate & Review

    • Rate and review your Moving Helpers to help future customers make the right choice for their move.
    • Get your $5.95 Refundable Marketplace Fee back from Moving Help when you leave a review within 60 days after the completed job.

Using the Payment Code

  • What Is My Payment Code

    Your Payment Code is a unique 6-digit code that holds your funds in an escrow account and is used to pay your Service Provider.

  • Satisfaction Guaranteed

    Your Moving Help Payment Code guarantees you only pay for services when you're satisfied with the quality of work.

  • Releasing Payment

    Release the Payment Code by giving it to your Service Provider only after your job is completed and you're 100 percent satisfied.

  • Finding My Payment Code

    You'll receive your Payment Code in your email after placing an order. If you signed up for text messages, you can find it there. You also can find it in your Moving Help Customer Account or in the U-Haul App.
