  • I Highly recommend MG Moving for your upcoming move. Their team did an excellent job unloading my items from the U-Haul truck, handling my belongings with care, and placing them in the correct rooms. I experienced one minor issue due to a clerical error that was not their fault, and the owner swiftly and professionaly resolved it. MG Moving provided outstanding service.

  • I hired 2 helpers for 2 hours. Only 1 helper arrived at the start time. He said the owner would be coming to assist since they did not have anyone else. The owner texted me 30 minutes later saying he was 15 minutes away but I did not see the text as I was helping unload the truck with my family members. The helper that was there was communicative and working very hard but he spent a good portion of time on the phone with the owner and we both got increasingly frustrated. I don’t have a lot of heavy bulky furniture, but my father lifting heavy furniture to bring inside since there was only one helper (because that was one of the last tasks) was very frustrating and inappropriate as he is not in good health. He may have offered to help, but it’s unprofessional to put us in that position. We waited for the owner, arriving 45 minutes after the scheduled start time, which I had confirmed with him earlier in the day. I paid for 2 helpers 2 hours and got 1 helper for 1 hour. Disappointing.

    Thank you for your feedback. Id like to clarify a few details. I contacted you approximately 5 hours before the scheduled move to let you know I was running late due to heavy traffic and sent pictures showing the situation. I was coming from Waynesville, NC, and driving back to Charlotte, NC. I also asked my employee to wait for me so we could complete the move together, but you decided not to wait. If you had waited about 40 more minutes, we could have completed the move quickly. There was also nothing light about this move there were many heavy items. I was concerned that your father was put at risk by having to handle those heavy items. I understand your time is valuable, and I apologize for the inconvenience. However, we communicated the delay in advance and were actively trying to find a solution.
