Our local helpers have been helping people move since 2002.
Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
They showed up with only two people when i booked 4. They claimed it was due to finding out about the job the night before, but I had booked 3 weeks in advance. The 2 that did show up did take good care of my items, but were very very slow, and packed my truck inefficiently so I could not fit as much.
They broke my 55-inch new Samsung tv it wasn’t handled with care its whole screen is broken. I tried to contact them, and their voicemail mailbox was full, the link on their page was broken. 1,797.92 was the cost of the TV. They have called me back and it has been more than a month. No one has reached back. Very unprofessional. I do not recommend that anyone should use them.
The movers were wonderful and didn't complain that I had heavy things and my apartment was on the third floor.
