The mover dishonestly charged me an additional $1500 outside of the moving cost to complete my move. Arrived without tools and stood around four hours awaiting tools to be able to move the larger items. My favorite antique piece is broken on arrival and neither Moving Help company will take responsibility, although I purchased the iinsurance.. Terrible experience.
If you’re looking for a team that truly shows up, stop scrolling and book A Mighty King With A Tidy Queen. From start to finish, they were prompt, careful, and about their business — no games, no wasted motion. Communication was on point the whole time, and they hustled like I’ve never seen. They unloaded both a 22-foot and a 16-foot truck in just 2 hours and 15 minutes — that’s unreal. They didn’t waste a single ounce of time. Every move was efficient, organized, and handled with care. I gladly paid for the extra 15 minutes because it was worth every bit. These two go above and beyond in every sense. You can tell they take pride in their work. Trust me — you gotta use this duo. I definitely will for every future move or project I’ve got.
The movers were not professionals, or experienced, from what I could see. I had packed up moving boxes and marked them to say what was heavy and which way was up, etc., but they did not handle the boxes well at all and seemed to have no idea how to carry or stack the boxes and the remaining items - both in the moving van and the storage place. I had to guide them and explain exactly how to store the items. I also had to keep reminding them to handle the moving boxes correctly - several times they dropped the boxes and also damaged 2 of the boxes that held expensive books. I appreciate they may be new but considering the price I paid for simply loading and unloading things, I would have expected better service. Unfortunately cannot recommend.
