Our local helpers have been helping people move since 2002.
Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
We made this move easy for the movers by wrapping and having furniture disassembled, but they showed up lacking efficiency. My partner and I had to help move a lot of the items. Thankfully the manager allowed us an extra hour. One of the movers asked if we were going to tip them which we already were but that was unprofessional.
Adam and Ptolemy were awesome! The arrived on time, and got to work right away. They were extremely polite, and displayed a constant attitude of service. They were able to move heavy and difficult pieces of furniture in tight spaces, showing care for the things they were moving as well as the walls, etc. And they worked tirelessly, even when it turned out that we needed their help for a few additional hours. We would very highly recommend them, and will use them in the future as we have need.
They were able to move up my delivery time by a few days, super courteous and professional. Great service!
