  • This was my first time hiring movers through U-Haul, and it will be my last. I booked Moe’s Moving for two hours of loading and unloading, with everything prepared to stay within budget. Brandon requested an earlier start due to another job. I agreed to 10 AM, yet he and his helper arrived 35 minutes late. His helper damaged my Murphy bed. Brandon acknowledged it but only attempted to smooth the damage after I suggested it. One side remained damaged. I was appalled to hear Brandon tell his helper not to rush because they were paid hourly. I began helping to avoid exceeding my booking, defeating the purpose of hiring movers instead of asking family. Brandon never warned me our time was ending or asked approval for overtime. He charged $65 for a full hour despite saying we went over by 45 minutes. When I raised the damage, he referred me to U-Haul, citing a lack of insurance. The experience was unprofessional and disappointing.
