  • We were told 2 prof movers. 2 showed up 1 left so we had a kid(inexperienced) mover for 2 hours. Not much was done cause the main guy just left. Kid could not move heavy stuff. Then he showed back up 2 hrs later at end and billed us another 2 hours without previous approval. Inexperienced movers showed up with no gloves or straps and we had heavy things to move down stairs. Movers were wondering around when main guy left. I told them when they go downstairs to grab a box. The mover said no. Bad experience and I felt they tried to drag it out to overbill by 2 hours an extra $360! Without prior approval! Then he showed up with a bunch of teenagers. I would not recommend if you need experienced movers. He would not negotiate and was quite mean about demanding extra money without a prior agreement for extra billing. I told him if he was to leave I paid for 2 professional movers. Bad management as he was the owner. Would never hire again!

    Talking with clients prior to their move was at most concern and was negotiated that if 4hr booking took longer they could add extra time! They hired two movers for 4hrs! They did have a lot of furniture and box's, stairs and lots in backyard at end of property. When my two guys started the job, I did talk with the client Bob about the job and that I would bring two extra guys to help near the end of their loading because their move was going to be longer than what they booked for! We agreed that I would only charge for two guys per hour for the two extra hours on their booking! I brought three other guys two help. At no time during this move,any mover not move anything to load the truck. I had also told both clients that their bigger furniture that was heavy could wait till near the end of the loading once I brought more guys to help! They we're only charged the extra two hours for two guys.They actually got a 50 percent discount for the two extra hours.
