D.C. Top Choice Movers - Most Completed Jobs - LLC
The pre-move communication was excellent, they were clear and specific in their questions and timelines. When they arrived they smelled like weed and immediately told us that they would have a hard time because our furniture was heavy, so we'll have to see how their stamina is after moving those pieces. In the pre-move communications they vehemently request furniture pads, which I've never had movers be so adamant about. It turns out that is because they are very rough with belongings. Moving furniture from the upstairs they smashed multiple corners of rooms, made dents in the walls and door casings. The one aspect I can empathize with is that one of the movers had their daycare cancel, so he had his child and needed to tend to them. He brought another man who was developmentally disabled to help load outside in the truck, which left one original mover to complete most of the rest of the move within the house. We had already moved most boxes so they completed in under 2 hours.
