  • The movers were mostly nice. But when we got to the place to unload, multiple bookshelves were broken. They tried to first say that they don't usually move 'inferior quality' furniture, then tried to blame my driving skills. Furthermore, something in a box marked fragile was broken beyond repair during the move - I saw them move these boxes and they were not gentle with them. I've moved many times, hired services to help me, and not once have I ever been told certain things couldn't be moved (they told me this multiple times) nor have I ever had anything break, especially in a box clearly marked. They wouldn't take some of my smaller stuff, telling me they 'weren't middle men.' Some things I did deliberately tell them to leave behind, but other things they just refused to take (for example, the shelves removed from a bookcase). Frankly, it was an awful experience. It felt like they didn't care about my possessions and were simply trying to get it done as quickly as possible.

    Thank you for your review Lauren we highly appreciate it It was brought to our attention about the way the transport was handled on the way to the next location for your move and the guys who are helping just like to give out friendly reminders to make sure you make your right and left turns wide and smooth around corners so you dont roll over the curbs and cause the truck to bounce and shake We dont want your items to get damaged in the back of the UHaul and break so we recommend to our helpers to mention it to customers so later on in your move theres no complications We are also sorry to hear the back cardboard of your shelf broke during transit in the UHaul truck on the drive over to your next location One of guys did take ample pictures and videos of the shelf and brought it to your attention and ours as well We advised our helper to tell you to take the broken piece to Home Depot or Lowes and itll be a 5 dollar repair cost and we also offered the 5 dollars to you Thank you
