The planned start at 12 p.m. shifted after the crew reported problems and arrived at 3 p.m.; I mentioned that the truck needed to be returned at 3pm, and they asked me to push the return back to a later time. I refused, so they scheduled an earlier team. The first mover came at 130 p.m., and the second followed half an hour later. The initial worker asked me to assist with unloading, claimed the second person might not be necessary, communicated poorly with the second guy, and arrived with a strong odor that intensified. He also noted that the second worker is consistently late. Coordination was weak during unloading, and when handling larger items together, they showed little care, such as dragging my leather couch across the concrete landing while using the stairs and the same with the mattress; both now have damage on the parts that were dragged.
