• We booked service with A1 Smooth Movers weeks in advance. They didn’t call to confirm the appointment; I had to call them myself. They called me the day before the appointment and changed their arrival time, which was problematic as we had planned our long distance move based on what we had previously agreed upon. I paid for 4 helpers for a big unloading job. Only three people arrived (one of which was a teenager); I purchased their service expecting 4 professional and experienced movers!! We had to hire additional movers while we were unloading just to make sure the job gets done. Their crew came to this job after doing two other jobs tired, I had to do a lot of the work myself. They dropped items a couple of items. One of their members asked my elderly mother to help him move stuff!! I can understand that they were tired after two jobs, but that shouldn’t be my problem; there was a reason I scheduled the appointment for early in the morning. I don’t recommend this company.

• Eric and Matt contacted the night before, moved extra unexpected things that weren’t initially apart of the move and both had great attitudes. Highly recommended moved twenty times in my life and these two were some of the best.

• Overall we had a good experience at the end I realized my kitchen island got hit by something hard and one of my stair nose also damaged! I have to replace the stair nose. But on the moving side and placing stuff in uhaul they did a great job. They also used some of their own rope and tape for packing.
