  • I had an extremely disappointing experience with Hamricks during my U-Box move from Charlotte to TX. After confirming an 8a-10a delivery window, Chris texted at 929a stating he had a flat tire and would arrive around 1p. After 1p passed with no update, I had to reached out for a revised ETA. He ultimately did not arrive until approximately 651p - nearly 9 hours after the confirmed delivery window. The delay caused me to pay movers I could not cancel, created issues with my apartment freight elevator schedule, and nearly resulted in an extra day’s rent because I could not turn in my keys until the next day. Chris also brought a dog. I have a dog allergy, and Chris handled all of my belongings, forcing me to sanitize my items after arriving in TX. After unpacking, I discovered a missing bed rail (that Wayfair just agreed to replace as a courtesy). Since filing my complaint with U-Haul, Chris has also sent texts to berate me for escalating. In summary, he had ONE job and failed!

    I woke up with a flat tire that I had to change this specific morning . This day it happened to storm for the first part of the day so I had to wait to change it. I did inform her of this with text evidence. Technically this job was only supposed to be a delivery only, but I agreed to load the boxes up for her free of charge. My dog was in the truck for the entire move. She not once brought up the concern of her being allergic. She is a very small Pomeranian that I do not want sitting at home all day while I work, so I bring her with me. We did a walk through at the end of this move, and she confirmed that we had gotten everything, so that part was a blatant lie about the bed rail. To top it off, this lady was one of the rudest, most entitled, condescending people I have ever met in my life. My other customers know what type of person I am and how much I cater to them. This is an obvious emotional attack on me, but everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

  • Hamricks went above and beyond to get our move done, even though we ended up having to start late in the evening. They saved the day! The only thing they could improve was their communication - a little more proactive communication would have helped a lot.
