• I hired movers to unload and they did not follow the way I asked them to place my things. They took so many breaks, eating up the time we hired them for, and then argued with us about the amount of time we hired them! We have a one year old and there were screws and nails left on the floor. I asked several times for them to place the boxes in the designated spot as I had put up signs to match the boxes labels and they refused. I had to do extra work for what I hired them to do. It was honestly a waste. Save your money and go somewhere else.

  Hi there, thank you for sharing this. I'm sorry your unload didn't feel smooth, especially with you not being there to direct the movers. From our crew notes, an on site helper of yours was directing where boxes should go throughout the job. Midway through, one of your contacts left and our team continued unloading without anyone directing our movers. The only remaining task when the booked time ended was assembling a modular couch; per the conversation on site, our movers were told you preferred to handle that yourself. On breaks and time our crews take brief safety and hydration pauses and otherwise work continuously. As we approach the end of the booked hours, our lead should clearly offer options (prioritize remaining items, extend time, or stop). There shouldn't be any back and forth that feels like an argument; if our communication missed the mark, that's on us. On placement and debris we aim to follow labeling and signs precisely and to leave walkways clear.
