Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
In spite of certain boxes being clearly marked Fragile or Put Nothing On Top, these directions were not followed. We are still unpacking boxes at this time so we don't know if there is any damage. Also, clearly delicate furniture items were not packed among everything else as I would have thought a company named Treat It Like Our Own would have done. Otherwise, the men were very efficient and cordial.
Gurman and PJ were very polite and handled my household items with great care. I really appreciated the little things, it made a big difference. I’ll definitely be using top notch again in the future!
They had 4 hours to move a 2BR apartment with the hope of doing at least part of our storage unit move. They didn't even get half the apartment moved, they spent so much time cutting up and complaining about not getting paid enough and NOT moving our items. They very carefully timed their unloading to be 5 minutes before our 4 hours were up. This was after i had to constantly move things to the right locations after my instructions were ignored. 2 of the guys were very kind but one of them just nodded at me and ignored anything i said, once even saying no, this is too heavy i'm leaving it here. I'm a 51 year old weak person and i was able to pick up the bag and move it after he refused. Today we had to hire another company to complete the move which they did, including loading and relocating items from a full 10x20 storage unit all in 2 hours. I couldn't afford this but was left with no choice.
