Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
Very communicative leading up to the move, and on the day of, Tim and Austin were SO helpful. We gave them a unique situation moving one large apartment into two moving trucks, and they handled it effortlessly, efficiently, and much faster than expected! Would definitely work with them again.
Prior to the move date, Manpower reached out to confirm the details. They were very communicative and showed up promptly. 10 out of 10 presentation. The movers were polite and moved quickly. Sadly, we later saw that they had turned a lot of boxes on their side or inverted them, leading to a lot of crushed boxes and the entire box wall falling toward the back of the truck making unpacking both treacherous and stressful. If I knew how bad the load was; I would have witheld payment but we only discovered at the other end.
U-HAUL messed up my reservation and the guys picked up a 4th late night job to come and make sure I could unload the truck.
