• We have used movers through the uhaul website before and have always had positive experiences. Until today. 4 gentlemen showed up to our home to move us. These are NOT professional movers. These are, what appear to be random friends or acquaintances that show up to move you. I had a new vanity that was busted on my driveway. $200 down the drain (on top of the almost $600 we paid for their services). I watched how they carried it - instead of carrying it up right, they had it tilted almost completely sideways and of course the mirror detached and busted. They damaged our ceiling above our stairs, put indents in our wall and even scraped a hole into our wall exposing the drywall. While they did reach out to apologize for destroying my vanity and asked if they could work around our home for a couple hours to make up for it, we declined. We are private people and do not want random people in our home especially after destroying things. I’m upset and disappointed and would not recommend.
