• Moving can be stressful, but as two trans roommates we have not always been respected. Heaven Sent Moving was the complete opposite. The crew asked how we preferred to be addressed and honored it which made us feel safe and valued. Our move was last minute. We thought we could use my dad’s garage but when he sent a picture it was too full. We had no boxes or supplies. Instead of walking away June and Tyson rescheduled for later that day and gathered boxes from grocery stores, U Haul donations, and Facebook Marketplace without charging us. They packed, wrapped, taped, and labeled everything with care, covered our furniture with pads, and used dollies. They even separated our belongings during a breakup and helped us find storage when we had nowhere to go. Their kindness, respect, and professionalism gave us a true five star experience.

• I’m the one in my family everyone calls when they need help, and this time I booked Heaven Sent for my niece—a woman with 36 cats. Most people judge her and, honestly, most moving companies wouldn’t have helped at all. In the past, other movers told her that they wouldn’t touch the job unless she got rid of the cats and the pet hair. But Heaven Sent Moving didn’t turn their noses up at us. Instead, they patiently helped us place each cat into boxes with moving blankets at the bottom so they’d be comfortable, then into her car. They even went the extra mile, cleaning the hair off her furniture with lint gloves before wrapping and moving it. Her furniture arrived in the new home clean, wrapped, and ready to use. More importantly, they treated her with dignity when others would not have. That kind of compassion and respect is something I’ll never forget and it’s why I’ll keep calling Heaven Sent whenever my family and friends need help.
