• We hired Tejas Moving through MovingHelp.com and while the movers showed up on time, the experience was disappointing and frustrating. One of the movers reeked of marijuana, which immediately raised concerns about professionalism and safety. Throughout the move, the team worked inefficiently—carrying individual items one at a time without assisting each other. This led to avoidable damage to our freshly painted walls and doors. Most concerning, they knocked our Ecobee thermostat off the wall, causing it to break apart. They also questioned what we had paid and claimed their boss told them they were only there for 3 hours, even though I had paid for 4. At the end of 3 hours, they asked for the payment code, which I provided, and then refused to help finish tasks like removing plastic wrap from the furniture or attaching legs—basic wrap-up tasks that are standard with a move. In short, I paid for 4 hours of service and received 3 hours of careless, unprofessional labor. I don’t take l
