Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
The guys were very nice and hard workers. My couch was just torn but the fit into my apartment was hard to get the couches in. I still would have liked a little bit more care in regards to that as it’s in 3-4 places. Next time I will make sure to purchase some kind of protector. Now I’m going to have to figure out how to repair it.
Matt and Kadyn arrived 20 minutes early. I had three bulky and somewhat heavy items. They loaded them quickly. At the drop off location one item had to go to the second floor. They maneuvered it through a tight space and got it in place without marking walls or stairs. Great job!
The two helpers did not work well together. First thing they did was request additional hours, then complained about how certain things would not fit in my new house. I was able to move the item by myself, into the room they swore it would not fit into. They scratched furniture, and broke a few things and never notified me. Also, pieces and parts were scattered everywhere. I still can't find a piece of my bed. One of the guys was super nice and polite. The other, not so much.
