  • I was charged an additional $100 for an extra hour that certainly was not necessary. lots of just standing in the truck for 20+ minutes and they included the 10 minute walk from where they chose to park in that time. i will say they were very kind people but i felt like they were trying to take longer just to get that additional hour. I’ve moved 5 times now with the same amount of stuff and have never had movers (2 people) take longer than an hour and a half. My TV stand was also broken during transit (not recoverable) because and absurd amount of weight were stacked on top of it when there was more than enough room in the truck to spread things out.

    Thank you for your feedback. We do appreciate you recognizing our teams kindness. For clarity our time started when our crew arrived at your unit. We do our best to work efficiently while navigating factors like elevator access, building layout and distance from the unit to the truck especially with 3rd floor moves, so everything is handled safely and with care. Our crew worked beyond the original booking window and while the job exceeded an additional hour we only charged for one extra hour to be fair. We also came prepared with our own rope and ratchet straps to properly secure items during transit. We always recommend emptying drawers and distributing weight evenly as heavily loaded furniture can be more vulnerable to damage. That said, we take concerns seriously and would have welcomed the opportunity to address this during the move. With 200 plus five star reviews we are proud of the consistency and care we provide and remain committed to earning our customers trust.
