The two movers arrived on time and communication was generally adequate. However, there were several issues with execution and efficiency. Usable space in the truck’s attic area was not utilized, and the loading order felt somewhat disorganized. Despite an initial walkthrough, items were not always staged efficiently, and I was asked multiple times during the move what still needed to be loaded. One mover also took several personal phone calls during the job. While the move was completed within the allotted time, it came close to affecting our unloading schedule. Additionally, our washer was damaged during the move. The appliance dolly’s built-in straps were not used, and the washer tipped over at the doorway threshold, resulting in a dent. There is also concern for potential internal damage, as the unit has not yet been tested after the incident.
