  • Overall the movers did well. I deducted on start because I wish the lead mover had asked me about or mentioned that he 'does not put wood on wood' to avoid the furnishings getting scratched before loading up our wood furnishings, because I would've told him I don't care if they're scratched, and to please just stack them atop each other. It would've saved loads of space at the end. As it was, my husband removed many items afterward and reloaded them to optimize the space in the truck. Also deducting the star because we were surprised to see that the lead mover's 'other guy' was a minor, presumably his son. Hooray for encouraging hard work and grit in kids, but loading up potentially very heavy and cumbersome furnishings that could potentially lead to a major accident is not the place for that. (We assume he was a minor, it's not like we asked for his ID.) Also regarding communication, please make sure to text the homeowner when you're on your way to their house. P.S. We tipped in cash.

  • Hub City Moving was absolutely fantastic. The team was extremely hardworking, professional, and courteous from start to finish. They showed up on time and handled all of my items with great care—nothing was damaged or scratched. You could tell they truly cared about doing the job right. What really stood out was their attitude. Every mover was friendly, respectful, and stayed positive throughout the entire move, even during the heavy lifting. They were efficient without rushing, and always mindful of walls, floors, and doorways. Moving can be stressful, but Hub City Moving made the process smooth and easy. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, professional movers. I’ll definitely use them again in the future!
