  Reliable Movers

  Overall the Reliable Movers staff were very kind and helpful but not the most professional. Despite calling to confirm their arrival time a few days in advance, they arrived over an hour and a half late. We had discussed use of ratchet straps for our cross-country move in advance. However, at the end, I was disappointed to see that nothing was tied down at all despite providing them with a ton of rope and ratchet straps. I could also see boxes towards the back of the truck which were not blocked and thus will certainly fall if I brake. We chose Reliable Movers due to their reasonable cost, and I do think we got what we paid for— helpful movers who would have been fine for an in-town move but did not have the experience or professionalism I would have hoped for a cross-country move.

  Ace Movers

  I had asked Ace Movers to arrive sometime between 9 and 10AM. Aidan texted me in the morning to let me know that they were running about 10 minutes late and wouldn't arrive until 9;10. That wasn't late, but I appreciated the communication. When they got there, they apologized (again, they weren't actually late) and got right to work. I had booked 2 people for 3 hours. These two finished the work in just under 2 hours. So, we were done about an hour earlier than I had planned as my best case scenario. These guys are careful, conscientious - absolute moving professionals. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or to hire them again. Thanks Ace Movers!!
