    My move with North Star Movers was a complete nightmare. It started with one of the movers refusing to load the van until his boss paid him more and then went down hill from there. The two movers dragged my furniture through the mud and along the pavement, badly damaged the floors and walls, and literally threw my boxes haphazardly into the van without tying anything down. After 2 hours of repeatedly asking them to neatly stack and then tie down my boxes and watching the situation deteriorate, I fired them. I then had to unpack the entire van and get my neighbours to help me repack it. I took lots of pictures and sent them along with a complaint to North Star, and followed up with phone calls but no-one returned my calls. I also filed a complaint with Movinghelp, , and tried to connect with Uhaul but received no support or recompense.
