  • The owner of the company handled our move directly. You would think that would instill confidence and care, and you’d be sorely mistaken. They arrived 3 and a half hours after the promised time. Little to almost no communication on the delay by the way. When they got here they worked quickly, clearly tired by the day they had. We offered them water, we tipped them well, we were empathetic to what seemed like a long day. It felt like a relief when they had all of our belongings in the U-Haul pod. The relief didn’t last long. We got a call from U-Haul the next morning that the movers had left the pod with all of our personal belongings out in the open on the U-Haul lot overnight in one of the worst areas of San Francisco. It was broken into and thousands of dollars of belongings were taken. We spent the morning grieving and repacking what was left into a different pod. Owner of the company is ghosting us, and we cannot believe the negligence.
