  • They communicated well about arrival time and that they would be late. They arrived 45 minutes late. We went over what all was going into the truck and that we were not fully packed yet because we would still be staying in the house another night and expected to finish packing the truck and trailer ourselves the next day. The movers were very friendly and quick to load but after they left we found that there was a ton of empty spaces in both the truck and trailer despite not being able to load anything else (and we still had more to load, which they were aware of). During loading they knelt on furniture which resulted in broken and damaged pieces. Several other pieces had damaged due to being stacked improperly or being taken apart improperly. We ended up unloading half the truck and the entire trailer to repack and secure items properly. The lead mover Ben had an attitude with the second mover Richard throughout the job which added to the stress of the moving process for all involved.

    We scheduled a time to get there at 3 30pm So while traveling to the area the Traffic was very heavy so I call her in told her that we was going to be a little behind time so we get there at 4 20pm so after we get there we end up finishing the job early which was two hours in half nothing damage so I try to get the code from the lady in she refuses to give it to me after I gave her my service she was upset because she put in to many hours in it only took us 2 in half in she put in for 4 hours So she insisted that we travel from Cedar Lake Indiana all the way to Homewood Illinois which was out my way I still go out my way for this lady in she still try to pay me for only two hours again it was almost close to 4 hours when we got there After that we load only two items then she said we done once she saw that she was not going to make the time I guess u can't make everyone happy even know u go out your way for them
