Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
Oikos was great to work with. My U-Box delivery did not arrive on the day before. Oikos was understanding and was flexible to work around the late arrival. They had great team work and used great care in moving the items. They were efficient with time and even helped arrange and items within the home so unpacking would be manageable.
The crew were over an hour late without notice. We paid for 4 hours but they left after 2, stating they had another job to get to. They left many boxes and tubs for us to load. They loaded up the truck so loosely and sloppily that we had to undo their work. When we asked them to repack part of the truck, the mover threatened to ‘get salty’ on us. The manager refused to issue a refund for the 2 hours we paid for, stating ‘I don’t do refunds.’ It was shocking enough that we had to repack everything they touched and because they left two hours early for ‘another job’, but the manager’s response and lack of responsibility should be a concern for future customers. We have to settle this dispute in small claims court.
Day 2 - Group 1, Edelber, Leo & Daniel!!! This crew is amazing!!! They came back today to empty the second POD and did in record time with great care. They assemble imported furniture with gear ease. I would recommend them again and again.
