Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
We are on the third floor and it was a hot day. They worked hard, kept going, and were an amazing help. They were clearly knowledgeable about safe moving and took extra our furniture and fragile items. We were very please and would consider using again.
I would not hire this company again. They arrived two hours late and came without a dolly; something essential for any move. One worker even brought his wife and child, who waited in their car the entire time. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because of Jeremy, who was professional and tried his best to keep the job on track. Unfortunately, his co-worker was rude, unhelpful, and argued with Jeremy throughout the move, making everything more stressful. Because of their lack of preparation and poor attitude, my family and I had to help move furniture and boxes ourselves. We even used our personal wagon to speed things up just so they could finish and leave. To make things worse, the unprofessional worker suggested I should be charged extra for not having a dolly; something they were clearly supposed to provide. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and I wouldn’t recommend them.
The gentleman was helpful and work according to the plan. They were professional and I will use them again.
