  • INCREDIBLE work these Chris and his partner did to mitigate a LOT of stress They communicated early with expectations and gave updates on the day of moving. Then, when they arrived at our house, they efficiently and effectively loaded all of our stuff into 4 Uboxes. I can tell that Chris especially is an expert at the 'real life jenga' packing. Using the blankets and tools, they loaded the Ubox so well that nothing will move in transit. Indeed, I have full confidence that everything will arrive at my new home in one piece. Plus, we had our dog here during the packing but that did not bother them. In fact, it only dawned on me after Chris suggested it that I could have brought our dog to our boarding place for the day--it was as stressful for the dog as it was for us. I know it would have taken me personally days to pack everything with a lot more stress, and I know I would have had stuff broken when I arrived at the destination. Overall---highly, highly recommend!

  • They did a job before our move which is okay but they came tired. One guy ended up dropping a fridge off the dolly and didn’t have it strapped down.

    Thank you for your feedback! We strive to bring our best to every move, and we are sorry this experience didn't fully reflect that. The fridge hadn't been defrosted before loaded into the truck, and it leaked during the unload, creating a slick ramp, causing one of our movers to slip and fall and the fridge in turn shifted off the dolly. While we acted quickly, we recognize the need to pause and reassess when unexpected hazards arise. Weve taken this as a learning opportunity and I have updated our safety protocols to better handle similar situations in the future. We appreciate the chance to improve and thank you again for choosing Simple Moves.
