Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
Mike and Jeremy from M&M Moving were great. Prompt, strong young men who did just what we needed. Very cheerful and positive. But the UHAUL website and app were difficult to use and phoning HAUL was completely unresponsive. I was on hold for 50 minutes and when someone finally answered they said all i could do was wait for an email. So - Moving Help was ABSOLUTELY GREAT. I intend to use them again. UHAUL was lousy, slow, unresponsive, and WAY to complicated.
They were amazing!!
The movers arrived 45 minutes late. They reached around 9 45 AM but stopped working by 11 10 AM, saying their time was up. Throughout that period, they were constantly on the phone or arguing, and showed no willingness to complete the move. They claimed there was no space in the truck, even though it was clear there was still room. They also refused to help move couches into another truck. We offered to have them just place the items near the truck area so we could handle the rest, but they didn’t listen. As a result, I ended up moving a lot of the items myself. Despite initially agreeing to unload everything at the Franklin location and accept cash payment, they later changed their story, saying they had another job, something that was never mentioned beforehand.
